Abstract

Pharmacy education has evolved significantly over the years, transitioning from a focus on traditional drug dispensing roles to more patient-centered and clinical responsibilities. This paradigm shift has necessitated the integration of clinical skills training within pharmacy curricula. This review article provides a comprehensive overview of the integration of clinical skills training in pharmacy education, discussing its importance, methods of implementation, challenges, and potential outcomes. The discussion delves into the benefits of clinical skills training, the various strategies employed for its integration, and the role of technology in enhancing this training. The review also highlights potential barriers and challenges faced during implementation and suggests strategies to overcome them.
